Rudy`s in Killeen

45 min wait for curbside pick up. I could have baked my own ribs in that time. Will not be going back. Poor customer service as well.

I don't normally give five stars unless I'm really impressed, and this is the third Rudy's location I've been to, and they keep the same standard across the board everywhere I've gone. Very happy with the food and the service, I've had every meat on the menu and I'd have to say my favorite is the moist brisket and the sausage. Just tried the green chili stew today and it's full of a beautiful mixture of flavors. I have recommended Rudy's to many people and will continue to do so. There is literally not one bad thing on the menu. Enjoy!

I used to love this place but they have gotten too big for their britches as they have expanded across Texas. Quality has gone down prices have gone up. Im giving up on Rudy's after my last experience and that makes me sad because their meat used to be a real treat.

My first impression was great! Food was tasty and hot. I liked the fact that you can choose your own seat. Service was a little slow but it was worth it.

Not the best bbq I have had. No smoke ring on the brisket and it tasted like roast and the sausage leaves much to be desired. Definitely will not be going back.

I have not a lot of experience with Texas BBQ, but it couldn't be easier and better than this. Delicious brisket and fantastic pulled porc, together with homemade BBQ sauce. I am officially addicted. Thanks Rudy's!

You NEED TO GET THE MOIST BRISKET....the sides were okay. The meat was phenomenal. This was the cheapest I've ever paid for so much food. God bless Texas and southern bbq.

Customer oriented experience! Right away they ask if its your first visit. Immediately solicit samples for you to try before ordering. Orders are tailored by weight and even number of ribs. Sides are alright. The salad bar station is great and full of choices to pair with food. Restaurant is clean and inviting. Overall nice joint to stop in for some BBQ.

Rudy's has your classic must-try Texas barbeque. They sell the meat by weight so if you're a heavy eater it's a great choice. They make great smoked brisket and have some awesome spicy sausage. The classic country Texas atmosphere, although many of the seats are solid wood chairs, the few that aren't are picnic tables with benches. If you have trouble with hard chairs or back pain like some of my older family members, you may want to plan to take the BBQ to go. Overall, great food and locale, I love eating here when I visit family.

Semi-long wait but every half pound is worth the wait and its price per weight. The meat is fatty, tender, and moist. The sauce is more tart/vinegary than Salt Lick (which is richer/more savory/spiced) and Miller's (which is sweeter and thicker), but still excellent in its simplicity. The best part was that they were open on the 4th of July while Miller's wasn't. FYI, they also provide a military discount.

It was good over all good. I would say they need friendlier staff. At least for the lady that attended us, it was our first time there so we weren’t sure how to order, she seemed annoyed at my questions about the sizes and some sides you get out of the refrigerator some they give to you and apparently your supposed to know which is which. Also t my brisket was a lil dry but other then that it tasted good.

This place is laid back and very casual. If you want an easy going place with great BBQ this is it. I had the brisket, ribs, cream corn, and green chile stew. Everything was awesome. I would recommend the moist brisket, it has more fat, but much more flavor and moisture. If you want easy going great food you cant beat this place!!!!

This place is great. Our family loves coming, specifically, to this location. The service is great. Brisket and Turkey is fantastic. Plenty of room to sit. Try the breakfast tacos! They're delicious and a reasonable price. Compare that with fast food bFast tacos which cost twice as much and they're all made from....i'm not even sure what it is.

We had our daughter’s 40th birthday party here. It was a big success. Rudy’s let us use their party room free and decorate ahead of time. We even got to bring in our own cake. The food is great too.

My family, and I love this place! The workers are always friendly, and professional.

First visit and it was fabulous!! Great food, clean restaurant and good prices. We will definitely have to go back when we visit our daughter and grandkids.

Every day I don't have this BBQ is suffering. Unfortunately, I live in the great white north and no one knows what good BBQ is up here, so when I had this food, it was like biting into an angle's ribs. Not that I'd eat an angle, unless they sold it here, which they don't I think. But I had the brisket and the turkey and I could not be happier. The staff were pretty friendly but the food was fantastic. I honestly fought with my group because I wanted to eat here every day and they were having none of my reasonable requests. I'll be visiting here first thing every time I'm doomed to return to Killeen again. This place is a shining beacon in this town.

I just left the establishment about 10 minutes ago and I am puking my guts out. is the second time that my chicken was not done and it was tough as a two dollar steak. Will not be getting my business nor money again. I do not know what happened, because they were good a out a year or so ago.

Amazing bbq, nice atmosphere. We have been here every week since arriving to Texas. Would love for them to add some more sides, but everything they have is delicious.

Ordered a family meal for pick up. They were on time, order was correct, staff was friendly and most importantly: the food never disappoints.

Great food awesome service, it was our first time the young man at counter was patient and cordial.

I will say, Rudy's food is well prepared. Food is served warm and on the spot. Employee are respectful and cleaned. Facility is clean and family friendly. The management and staff we're very cheerful and pleasing. When I'm able I will be visiting again.

Had moist brisket, pork ribs and jalapeno sausage. All were great. Corn on the cob had lots of butter. Only gripe I had was the coleslaw is a bit bland

Best bbq I have had in a very long time, we had pork ribs and brisket. The baked beans and potatoes salad was also very good. Was told by others that the coleslaw is tasty, but I didnt try it.

I'm from Jacksonville Florida. Here with my family. My sister Gwen took me there for the for meat tray. The brisket was the best I've ever had in life.the other meat was good too but brisket was my number one choice

Staff is very nice. I've been here before to pick up orders for we deliver, never ate here before until today. Came ans grabbed a Togo order. Again staff super friendly. The young man who helped my son and I was great. Food is delicious!! And I smell like BBQ now. lol I love it!

I like it here. All the meats are excellent. They pull the meat out of the smoker and cut it up when you order it. None of them have been dry so far. Everything is tender with just the right amount of juice. The original sauce is one of my favorites. BBQ sauce tastes vary wildly, but this one is spiced perfectly for me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. There are lots of places to eat BBQ in Texas. Some are expensive, some have long lines, and some sell out and close early. Rudy's is a chain, but that doesn't mean they are doing something wrong. The staff seems to be enjoying themselves, are always friendly, and will make recommendations. Inexpensive and reliable, this place makes great BBQ.

Service was great, food was cooked to near perfection, but their "signature" BBQ Sauce ruined it. My first taste of TX BBQ was a disappointing experience. Where can I get some decent BBQ without hot sauce disguised as BBQ sauce? The pickles were the best part of the meal.

We usually love Rudy's and the service provided. My husband worked there years ago and knew that they hold high standards for themselves when it comes to customer service and satisfaction. This incident has soured my impression, though. Upon picking up our order, I asked for original sauce to go with our 1 lb of moist brisket. The cashier tossed two containers in the bag. When I got home, my husband pulled these out. That's barely enough for even half a pound of brisket. Come on, y'all. You're better than this.
